My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. Where find the spider Tom? I would like know the history of the spider!
They are all around a pond that is not far from our home. They are Black and Yellow Argiope Spiders. They get really large. It is said that the zig-zag thick pattern that they make in their web may have two functions. One… to signal birds not to fly into their large webs, and two… to attract insects due to the ultraviolet light that they reflect. 🙂
