When one reads the news or watches the news on television, one sees how terribly disorderly the human world is. This disorder is a reflection of each one’s inner disorder. Most people are not deeply orderly in the psychological sense. We are fragmented inwardly, and this inner fragmentation reflects as humanity’s outer separative governments, religions, and politics. This inner fragmentation, for instance, often consists of an image of a “controller” thinking that he (or she) is something separate from the controlled. It is taken for granted that one (image) of a controller is in charge and is making decisions (as a separate center). We tend to see and react from (and “as”) separation and conflict, and this separation and conflict reflect as disorderly reactions in society. Great order and great spirituality are not two separate things.
My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

There is a lot going on in the world today – I try to follow it all online as I don’t have TV, but still can’t keep up with it – weather worries seem ever present anymore, presenting a challenge to my mind to accept this is the new norm and to get over it.
I mostly watch the news online too, Linda, on YouTube. Yes, the weather these days is a huge concern. We live in turbulent times (for sure). At least we are not personally where earthquakes and hurricanes tend to occur.
Yes, YouTube is a good source for news. I get most of my weather reports there as well. I tell myself that with the exception of tornado threats, we are luckier than those who deal with earthquakes and hurricanes on a regular basis.
The problem in believing that we are a combination of different sub-personalities that individually rule rather than a unified βmeβ that enacts everything we do?
I too have noticed the world is so disordered. And most people diagnosed with mental disorders are actually just coping the best ways they know how to abnormal circumstances.
Thank you for the share, Tom. Best to you in the new year! πͺ·
Thanks, Michele, and wishing the best for you too. We sure live in crazy times, and one hopes that things get better (and more sane). π
Thank you very much. Sure hope so. Good thing we can keep our inner sanctum calm. π§π»
Yes, an oasis in the desert.
Chaos
Yes, and society is rampant with it.

Thanks, Happy New Year to you too, Paperlight! π

We don’t need to believe anything. Holistic, intelligent observing is wise beyond fragmentation interfering. π
