Humans are constantly battling themselves in war after war, year after year. It is so barbaric and primitive. It is just like the left hand trying to hurt and harm the right hand, not realizing that the right hand is itself too. We perceive in conditioned ways that involve separation, limited space, and conflict. We were educated to perceive in such ways via having competition, fragmentation, and crude views of separation instilled within (and “as”) us. We do not perceive — not enough of us anyway — with deep intelligence, wholeness, compassion, and wisdom. And is the observer — as we were crudely taught and conditioned to accept — really so divided from and separate from the observed?

So true, Tom, just think of the great things that could be achieved if the left hand and the right worked together!
Yes, Michael, you are right. We could accomplish so much more for health care and regarding keeping the environment much healthier.
Reading this, I picture humanity as a vast choir: some voices arguing with their own echo, forgetting they share one breath. Mindfulness is the moment one voice hears the full chord again—and realizes wounding another note only distorts the music we all are.
Great, Michael, another good way of putting it! If only many other people would perceive in such a way. However, crass conditioning and crude education have made many incapable of such perception.
Hi Tom – please check your SPAM folder. I’ve commented several times (sent you a dinosaur article) and none of my comments are going through. Your site is not the only problem I am having – all my comments are going to their SPAM folders. Thank you.
Wow! I looked in the spam folder of my g-mail, and i did not see anything from you. So i don’t know how to rectify that, Linda.
That is bizarre – everyone post I commented on last Friday and some on Thursday went to blogger’s SPAM folder. I had forwarded a dinosaur story as well. I’ll see if I can find it – it was on the Accuweather site. If I find it, I’ll put it here in another comment.
Here is the dinosaur story from the Accuweather site Tom:

Wow, thanks, Linda, i read the article. It was very interesting! I have an authentic dinosaur footprint from the Triassic Period. I’ve had it for many years.
I’m glad you enjoyed the article Tom – I thought of you right away when I saw it on Accuweather’s website. I remember you posted a few times about your dinosaur fossils and footprint and have mentioned them to me, in conjunction with a story I sent you once about perfectly formed fossils in amber – I believe you had a similar fossil. It’s pretty incredible to have an authentic dinosaur footprint!
When you are purchasing an authentic dinosaur footprint, you have to be very careful and take one step at a time. 😉
I think we will always be divided. There are too many who simply don’t care. And that is sad to me. Beautiful image, Tom!
