What divides you from so-called “others”? Is it what society has poured into you (when you were very young)? Is that division (i.e., that separation) what they implanted within (and “as”) you? Could it be that when you look with separation and fragmentation, you are separation and fragmentation?
Thought/thinking usually depends upon division. It is fragmentation. It is one symbol after another. Holistic perception exists beyond these fragmentary divisions/separations. It is, therefore, not merely of limitation, confinement, and solid boundaries. It transcends beyond illusory barriers and close-minded conceptions. Friction is separation, conflict, and division. Harmony is of holistic oneness and caring intelligence.
My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
I want to be green like that FANTASTIC grasshopper – oh what a photo Tom… Just yesterday I was be -moaning the reality that I cannot take a neutral position in the coming election – I am fragmenting – there is no way I could even pretend to myself even if I wanted to that I am not SEPARATING from the other.
Yes, Sara, i understand; politics is often based on division and fragmentation (without enough cooperation) and Democracy is in jeopardy, unfortunately. And, by the way, it’s not a Grasshopper, it’s a Katydid. 😉
I don’t want to join in with those that say “An eye for an eye” and murder in cold blood the ones that have murdered in cold blood or heated moments. It hurts me to think of any murder, but to live in a world that is full of others murdering each other, it makes me realise how different I am to the “Normal” other humans.
I haven’t slept well thinking about it prior, thinking how dread full the situation was for Kenneth. I can only image, but the man went through this disgusting mental torture and murder.
Animals are going through this.
The world of humans is sick, but not all.
It’s deep sadness I feel, that only being in nature and sorting out the garden can distract me from such horrific thoughts. One thing to hold onto: He isn’t being tormented now.\
Amazing how close you got to this grasshopper Tom; I am sure you were even closer than your recent photo of a grasshopper. And is it eyeing that little bug, or is that little bug eying the grasshopper?
Thanks, Linda! 😊 This one, however, is not a grasshopper; it’s a katydid. It seems to me that that little insect — a midge or whatever it is — is either dead or half-dead… so i doubt that it is looking at the katydid. The katydid is likely not interested in such a diminutive creature.

whoops – you are right on both counts – we’re in trouble that’s for sure.
Very profound!
Much appreciated, MobsterTiger. 😊
You’re very welcome my dear friend! #GoodWorks
Great post
Thanks much, nonsmokingladybug. Cigarettes suck. 😉

In fact:
Over Soil, what they did to him was wrong. But do not let it overwhelm you. There are good people in the world too.
Thank you for your kind words. I’m holding onto the thought that the suffering of that moment is not in this. In this moment there are daffodils.
Well, Over Soil, the death penalty seems quite barbaric to me. What they recently did in Alabama is abominable.

Great close up, Tom! With my green eyes, it’s only natural it’s my favorite color.
Thank you, Siobhan. And i have brownish-hazel eyes, so i kind of feel envious of you and the Katydid. 😉
