What Divides you from so-called Others?

What divides you from so-called “others”? Is it what society has poured into you (when you were very young)? Is that division (i.e., that separation) what they implanted within (and “as”) you? Could it be that when you look with separation and fragmentation, you are separation and fragmentation?

Thought/thinking usually depends upon division. It is fragmentation. It is one symbol after another. Holistic perception exists beyond these fragmentary divisions/separations. It is, therefore, not merely of limitation, confinement, and solid boundaries. It transcends beyond illusory barriers and close-minded conceptions. Friction is separation, conflict, and division. Harmony is of holistic oneness and caring intelligence.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. I want to be green like that FANTASTIC grasshopper – oh what a photo Tom… Just yesterday I was be -moaning the reality that I cannot take a neutral position in the coming election – I am fragmenting – there is no way I could even pretend to myself even if I wanted to that I am not SEPARATING from the other.

I don’t want to join in with those that say “An eye for an eye” and murder in cold blood the ones that have murdered in cold blood or heated moments. It hurts me to think of any murder, but to live in a world that is full of others murdering each other, it makes me realise how different I am to the “Normal” other humans.

Amazing how close you got to this grasshopper Tom; I am sure you were even closer than your recent photo of a grasshopper. And is it eyeing that little bug, or is that little bug eying the grasshopper?

Thanks, Linda! 😊 This one, however, is not a grasshopper; it’s a katydid. It seems to me that that little insect — a midge or whatever it is — is either dead or half-dead… so i doubt that it is looking at the katydid. The katydid is likely not interested in such a diminutive creature.
