Short Video entitled “Animals Acting Like Humans”…

Very many of us regard humans as something separate from animals. We are, in actuality, a strange kind of animal.

(Please watch the attached short video.) πŸ˜‰

Watch the entirety of it, please.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Having spent most of my life with animals both wild and tame I am in awe of their abilities – If we paid attention to how they acted we might learn how to be decent human beings. great post Tom!

Oh my gosh Tom, that cockatoo was too funny! 🀣 I simply loved the cool chimp who was driving the golf cart around like a piece of cake. Some of them were acting more human than some humans! Needed this laugh break for today! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

Tom – thank you for sharing this video. Very sweet and informative as well. I’ve watched many videos at the site β€œThe Dodo” over the years and you do get a sense just how smart animals are, not to mention their devotion to their offspring. At the very beginning of this video, I liked seeing the baby gorilla’s eyes following its mom while she was stroking it and she calmed it down –its eyes were intense, maybe scared initially? I liked the elephants enjoying the violin playing, the cockatoo bopping … he’s got the rhythm does he not? Amazing the orangutan driving a golf cart, or how the gorillas cooled themselves off by wringing out a towel dipped in water – very intelligent. The donkey is having a whale of a time playing isn’t he?

I often wonder if other animals sense it’s us humans who are entrapped in our environment. For some reason I was mesmerised by the buggy trip to the zoo – so relaxing to watch.
