Do you remember that wonderful line from the wire-walker, Phillipe Petit? the one who walked between the Twin Towers? He once said, “When I see three oranges, I juggle; when I see two towers, I walk!” I think your katydid has some of his spirit.
We saw the movie about Petit’s walk, entitled “The Walk,” in 3D. It was an incredible movie that helped convey his passion and dedication to this (unusual) art. Yes, the katydid has some of that “Petitness” in him! 🙂
You had me giggling, Tom! Not sure if this piece was about the condition of the mentally unstable in society or that whacky looking bug hanging precariously on that stem. LOL
Looks like it was waiting for you to snap that photo Tom! Cool pic! 🙂
Thank you, Kym! It was caught by surprise on its way to somewhere; katydids eat mostly leaves, not stems. 🙂

Wow – great photo, really great
Thank you, Carol. Katydids have great dexterity! 🙂
Fantastic photo Tom! 😊
I appreciate that, Sabine! Oftentimes these katydids get into comical poses. 🙂
You really honed in on this little guy, a/k/a “The Mini Wallenda”. 🙂
Way too breezy at the moment Tom
