I hope that bumblebee found a warm place to tuck away for the Winter – seeing that bee on the verge of temps dipping to the teens makes me think how long ago Summer now seems. Happy Thanksgiving Tom – peace to you and Marla, Sweetie and Scarlett and your other pets as well. 🙂
Thanks, Linda, from all the critters! (It’s Tweetie and Scarlet, by the way.) Did my good deed of the day for squirrels today… Took a big bag of Sunflower seeds and Safflower seeds over to my Mother-in-law’s assisted living place (where she has a squirrel feeder in front of her window). The squirrels loved it! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Ah, that’s sweet Tom – both the squirrels and your Mom will reap happiness from your thoughtfulness. I am taking mine some walnuts tomorrow when I visit … special treat for Thankgiving. I am sorry I confused the name … Tweetie – like the canary. I did know someone with a bird called Sweetie and confused them. I like hearing about them and mention it to my friend with Digger, the Amazon Grey.
Gorgeous purples and great shot, Tom.
Thanks, Luda! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
I so enjoy the way you capture these moments in nature! 😊
Good to discover! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you to! 😊
Short and sweet – and effective. 🙂
Great photo too 🙂
Thanks, Scifi! Give “you know who” a hug! 🙂
😀
A sweet little morsel of a poem. 😊
Much appreciated, Siobhan! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I love the connection between the Bumble Bee, flower and poem.
Thank you much! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

Purple Loosestrife is considered an “invasive” species where I live. But if all invaders were this beautiful, then it’s something I could live with.
Invasive! How could those beauties be invasive? I could live with it too! 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Loosestrife is another native we share. It’s a lovely flower, and the photo fits so well with your verse. A happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
It’s expensive to pay these bee props to fly just right to fit one’s poetry! Tee-hee! Happy Thanksgiving, Linda! 🙂
I agree with scifihammy, Thomas, have a nice day, regards Mitza
