Brilliant colors – beautiful. I don’t recall these from my Florida days with hibiscus everywhere, but I was far less attentive back in the 70s.

A leopard does not change its spots, and this bug should not add, subtract or re-arrange its spots. Very clever Tom.
Yes, they don’t need to. 🙂 We humans are rather plain, actually! I said once, to the parrots, that people do not have nice colors like birds do. One of them agreed and said, “yes.”
I am smiling at that … years ago, we taught our parakeet to say “He’s a pretty bird.” … Skippy was either quite impressed with himself or looked in the mirror and thought “she’s right” because he repeated that phrase over and over again. 🙂
