Yes, they don’t need to. 🙂 We humans are rather plain, actually! I said once, to the parrots, that people do not have nice colors like birds do. One of them agreed and said, “yes.”
I am smiling at that … years ago, we taught our parakeet to say “He’s a pretty bird.” … Skippy was either quite impressed with himself or looked in the mirror and thought “she’s right” because he repeated that phrase over and over again. 🙂
Stripes and spots and cross-hatching, o, my! Great photo, and a clever take on it.
They sure do have a lot of patterns going on, Linda! 🙂 Thanks!
What a fantastic picture!😊 So detailed.
Thank you, John! The weather here is getting more like fall weather. 🙂
Brilliant colors – beautiful. I don’t recall these from my Florida days with hibiscus everywhere, but I was far less attentive back in the 70s.
If you like the colors so much, Jazz, i’ll mail some to you. Tee-hee! 🙂
Just keep posting your gorgeous images!
I hadn’t heard of this insect before. It has beautiful markings. Very nice Tom!
We don’t see these too often. Thanks, Belinda! 🙂
Nature is perfection- love it and the little buggy
Yes, nature is perfection! 🙂 If we’d only leave it alone and vast!
Yep, no need to change what’s already right!
I’ve never seen this insect before.
Yes, nature does things beautifully! 🙂
