There are few, if any, tulips in my area, so it’s always a delight to see them. The color of this one is marvelous — I wonder if the midges appreciate the beauty of their home?
Yes, i agree, Grady! 🙂 This one is one of a few in our backyard by the river. It’s been crazy dry, for spring, and the flowers could be doing better in our area.
I saw one but maybe it is me and it is the end of a long day in front of a computer screen, but I do appreciate that vibrant purple which reminds me of a grape popsicle.
The color!! Fabulous!!
Yes! 🙂 Did you notice the two diminutive insects on it?
Lovely to see this tulip in situ. 🙂
Exactly! It’s the way they were meant to be viewed! Please give LM a hug and a treat for us! 🙂

Crab spiders are good at seeing the color of flowers and blending in but i’m not sure what midges see, Linda. It was in our yard by the river. 🙂
What a beautiful color!

I love tulips. I had the chance to visit the biggest tulip garden in Amsterdam this year…it was heaven ❤️
Wow! I bet it was awesome! I’m sure that they had tons! 🙂
