Cup Mushroom Encounter

like a little there was here
far beyond time and fear
in a little cup up-spill
as all reactions went nil

then a little here is there
like a holding of the purest air
why a lot of hate and crime
need a lot more love and rhyme

  1. I like the structure of your poem as much as I like the structure of the mushroom — another new one for me.

  2. A WOW photo – have never encountered one of those mushrooms! Do they grow independently or in clusters? Coloring would keep them inconspicuous to untrained eyes. One more reason to look where one’s feet are about to land!
    Your verse here is delightful.

  3. From what one has seen, they grow relatively independently. If one is found, others may or may not be in the area but not very close by. They are very hard to spot among all the remnant Oak leaves left over from last fall and winter. I have more pics of other ones that i will post at a later time.
    Thanks very much, Jazz! ๐Ÿ™‚
