Real love can’t be reasoned
can’t be measured
can’t be sold
and doesn’t give a damn
about having tons of $
or a stinking pot of gold
Genuine wisdom isn’t pompous
isn’t pigheaded
isn’t forlorn sorrow
and won’t ever bring ecstatic truth
eternal perception and blissful joy
if seriousness is 4 2morrow

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Yesterday:
Tom: How are you?
Tweetie: Better!
Tweetie: How are you?
Tom: I’m doing well; thanks for asking!
A very polite bird, hehe
Well said and lovely sulfur butterflies 🙂
Thanks much, Scifi! They were photographed before our freezing weather poured in! 🙂
Just as well 🙂
Once again, pinpoint accuracy in verse and images!
We hope so, Sandy! Thanks much! 🙂
You are welcome much.
Tom, this comment is a little out of place. You commented on my Elder Cats post a few days back (laundry involved). When I attempted to reply, I managed to hit something that trashed your post, and I can neither get it back nor respond directly. My apologies, and I had no intention of discarding your reply.
I will respond, however: Pillowcases every second day does seem a lot, and for some people who are sensitive to scent and texture, the change for fresh may make a huge difference, despite the inconvenience. Once a week works for me, and as someone who works with some folks with significant sensory issues, my fantasy is that’s where the request may be coming from. Glad your wife has help as she recovers from surgery–best healing wishes to all!
