We saw Santa at the mall yesterday (and he put lasting smiles on our faces)! One is never too old to get some real joy with quality Santa Claus time. A bit later, we sent some kids and their parents in his direction (to see him); i hope that they got a chance to visit with him.
The Christmas Holiday Season is very special and magical to me. It is a time of giving and caring with heartfelt joy. Such a holiday season should occur all year long. If possible, this holiday season, donate to some favorite charities. This season should not just be about materialistic things but should involve heartfelt caring and action. It’s a time for kindness, goodness, peace, camaraderie, and joy. Happy Holidays!… Merry Christmas! 🎅🤶
My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
I find this holiday troubling on so many levels…not the least of which is the good will that disappears almost instantly – but oh that Photograph is gorgeous!
I’m happy not to see icicles right now and to know I will bask in near-tropical temps on Christmas day. I make an exception for your ice-a-calls. 🙂 It is a magical season. I gave to my favorite animal charities for Giving Tuesday as some had donors who would match my donation – that made me happy. Merry Christmas Tom!
Those are some impressive icicles! We may get some snow starting tomorrow evening but not much…yet. I have been giving away and donating for ages. I gave so much of my Christmas crafting and wrapping to my DIL. She in turn gave the crafts to another senior complex that could use it and the wrapping paper went to wrap gifts purchased with funds from the state to foster children. The stuffies I had were still brand new and she added them to gift cards for families that needed a bit of help. We teamed up to make the most of little things. I’m downsizing daily. Baking for the old folks here that can no longer do it. I love this time of year even though I do it all year long. It’s too much fun to not.
Oh, Marlene, how very sweet of you to be doing things for people during this magical time of year… and to continue doing things for people all year long! You have a sweet, caring heart! 😊 I’m sure that people are very appreciative of what you do (and of your caring ways)! You go, girl! Merry Christmas!

Yes, the goodwill seems to disappear too rapidly, Sara. But it is a season of joy, so please don’t overthink it. 😉
Lovely post! Love the heartfelt expressions of how special this time of year is! 🌟
Many thanks, Tresors De Luxe. It’s a time especially sweet for kids (and the young at heart). 😊
It certainly is! 🌟

That’s awesome when they have donors to match your donation! So sweet that you donated! That’s the kind of person you are, Linda! Merry Christmas! 🎅🤶
