Let’s throw a smile —
quickly into sky —
higher than having —
swifter than to cry
Let’s bask in nothingness —
larger than a joy —
clearer than not helping —
wiser than destroy
Let’s move sideways —
faster than to know —
changing into backwards —
waltzing like a pro
Let’s read left to right —
in sequence it must be —
and let us ponder meanings —
stir some with our tea
Let’s dive into Fairytales —
rake Fall’s golden leaves —
as we climb a beanstalk —
taller than the trees
Let’s finish seeing —
poetry must end —
with a double meaning —
Living is Dying’s friend

Nice
Thank you much, Satyam! π
Sweet
Thank you, Lou! Means a lot, coming from a poet like you! π
Loved the poem and photo!π
Thank you and please give Harper a big hug! π
Very nice Tom – a poem and photo as we finally change the seasons.
Thank you, Linda! π There are tons of acorns in my backyard now. A big, frisky squirrel is acting like he is in heaven.
Ha ha – the squirrels in the Park were excited for black walnuts about a month or so ago. Little bits of green rind were everywhere after they peeled it away from the nut with their teeth, then clutched it in their mouth trying to decide whether to eat it or bury it. π
I love the ideas jumbled in this poem. The first line was a definite catcher for me π
Lovely!
Nice π
Oh this is some kind of feel good…”living is dying my friend.” Love the meaning in that and it’s more truth in that than we realize. Thanks Tom! πππ₯°
