We’ve looked with separation for eons in order to survive in a competitive world. However, merely looking with (and “as”) separation may not be what is conducive to a truly spiritual life. How does one look without separation? It isn’t the result of some method or system that one can apply or copy. Effort itself, through time, is separative and is not the answer. Practicing meditation is not the answer. Belonging to a so-called organized religion or to an abstracted territorial domain (conveniently called “my country”) contributes to division and conflict in the world. Any procedure performed by a supposed central ego is based on separation.
The answer neither involves time nor a central observer.
The Art of Proper Parenting … Photo by Thomas Peace c.2023
My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
This makes sense to me Tom as I find preaching about a specific way forward (as being ‘The Way’ on this journey) does indeed mean separation; as well as (at times) hypocrisy.
I love the duck? eggs –
animals simply know what to do and where it’s at, don’t they?! 😊
Yes, Margaret, there is (in the world) my way of so-called organized spirituality as opposed to your organized way… which ultimately creates conflict and division in the world.
Yes, animals have an intrinsic, organic intelligence. 😊
As you say violence is the norm Tom; worse we just don’t care – 4 people gunned own an hour from here and they are still saying “this can’t happen in Maine -” my god – escaping violence of one kind of another is a full time job… can’t read news, can’t watch a movie, EVERYTHING we do seems predicated on violence… what the hell is the attraction? It must be power…
I’m so sorry that people were gunned down in your area, Sara. Yes, guns give ignorant people a false sense of power. Really, though, it’s the power of being atrociously ignorant and broken.
How nice to see this beautiful photo on Earth Day Tom. You and I know that we must be more respectful of our environment every day, not just on a day when we are told to do so. The nest filled with eggs is so peaceful and shows the soft side of Mother Nature, not the side that is ravaging homes and lives with all the wicked tornadoes. But where was Mama that the nest was unattended – my goodness, she stepped away for a grub and a drink of water and in come the paparazzi. 🙂

Such a gorgeous photo – the antithesis of separation! Separation is presently killing us along with every other species on the planet.
Yes, Sara, many humans are separative and indifferent about what takes place environmentally. Guns and violence are the norms, it seems. 🙄

Unfortunately the reasons why don’t excuse senseless murder

Yes, we must be respectful re the environment every day.
I laughed a lot about your paparazzi comment. 😀
Yes we must … I am glad to give you a smile Tom.
