My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
Stunning shot, Tom! Definitely a busy bee!!
Thank you, Donna! A low flyer, not a falcon flyer. π
If a picture is worth a thousand words, that does leave a lot of words still out there, running around free!
Thanks much, Linda! And hopefully worth much beyond words too! π
Excellent photo Tom.
Thank you much, Peter! π I chased bugs around as a kid and am still at it. π
They are often better company than humans!
That’s the buzz that is going around. π
What a picture, though! Hard to not say anything about that! π Well done
I appreciate that, M.B.! I like this one a lot too! π
I love that photo! Bright and happy. π
Yes, SB; the way that the bumblebees move the flower parts around as they are foraging is magical. π
Bumble in the jungle indeed – how do you coordinate your blooms with your bees Tom? Very beautiful!
Thanks, Linda! Nature does it for me. π (Or maybe one ought to say “… does it as me.”) π
The same for me Tom … I wish I had started a walking regimen combined with visiting parks long before I did.
I felt uplifted by this photo Tom, great to see.
It was neat to see the bees moving through the stamen parts, busily doing their job, Paul! π
Spectacular photograph, Tom!
I liked it too, Sabine. Thank you! π
Well, Tom, since I changed my favorite color from window-prism blue-green to yellow, you got me on with these.
Wow! Glad it did something for you, Michael! π
Loved the photo and itβs title!π
The “Not” continues thanks to you, CI! π
