Do you feel small? (poem)… and note about Marla…

[Note:   My wife, Marla, is still in the hospital — getting strong antibiotics through a PICC Line for the serious infection that has been occurring in her shoulder, following her recent shoulder replacement surgery — so my online correspondence will continue to be limited for the time being.]

Do you feel small
in this huge cold world?
Don’t feel large.
Don’t feel small.
Just express warmth…
the warm of compassion.

That’s all that really matters.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about those complications. Here’s to a speedy and complete resolution. Don’t forget to get a little rest, yourself. While it’s important for a golden skipper, it’s equally important for us.

  2. This is a very concise and eloquent poem. It’s good advice, too. Thanks for sharing.
All the best to you and your wife during her recovery.

  3. This Golden Skipper is dainty and carefree – you and Marla are getting through this and hopefully the infection is over soon and you can both relax a bit. My best to both of you.
