(NOTE: The following poem is not against voting; it is opposed to voting by people who are easily duped and who turn their backs on the environment.)
This from the witch
of the stir from the brew
whose Halloween terror
came flying for you
She brings you bloody terror
wrinkled skin and loss of hair
and all the rats and spiders cheer
as she circles the air
But all the ugly terror
that she drapes as the night
doesn’t equal the brainwashed zombies
soon to vote with all their might
It has been so hard to avoid seeing your seasonal spiders, but uninformed voters are even more upsetting.
Yes indeed! 🙂
Let’s hope the brainwashed zombies go back to the graveyard after tomorrow.
Oh, they’ll be going to the voting booths… you can bet on that horror happening! 🙂
You speak of the real nasty in the room, powerful words.
Thanks, Paul! 🙂 It’s real zombieville here in the USA!
They all come out to play 🙂
Frightful, but creative.
Nothing, Pazlo, is quite so scary as what is really happening in the USA these nutty days!
The spider gives me a fright and the WWF’s report today gave me a bigger fright than the spider – very sad.
Do you mean the report that since 1970, 60% of wildlife has disappeared? That’s frightening… beyond frightening.
The spider is cute and is a real beauty!
Yes, there were reports all over the news after World Wildlife Federation published that report earlier this week. I follow a blogger who writes on different topics, but is interested in environmental conditions and she often writes about the plastic in the water and how it harms the shorebirds.
I sent Pam Lazos the link in case she missed it – it was heart breaking to view this video. https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/29/health/wwf-wildlife-population-report-intl/index.html
I want to embrace spiders, really I do … well, okay from afar … just for you Tom. 🙂
Cleverly put! I agree. Lots of zombies in the voting booth.
Tons of zombies… unending zombies… and they are ruining the world while not thinking that anything is wrong.
I agree, the power of one vote in the wrong hands is scary enough. Multiply that by millions and well… good luck to us all. Thank you for the creepy reminder!
It’s creepy for sure! Super creepy! No need to fabricate The Twilight Zone when you have tons of this stuff going on. And they are our relatives and neighbors.
wonderful photography and terrible (happy) Halloween
Thank you, Yoshi! 🙂 Have a spooky Halloween! 🙂
You too 😉
