My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

So glad you are appreciative of it, vikram! 🙂
Such a lovely flower – the beetle looks like he’s lying back and having a nap! 🙂
Thank you much, Scifi! 🙂 Please give Little Monkey a super big hug from us!… and give please give him a big wooden dog bone on our behalf. 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Will do – and LM has plenty of log bones to chew on 😀
Tom, I hit “like” three times now, and it doesn’t show here at all, did you get it?
Yes, it shows! Thank you very much, Michael! 🙂 Stay perceptive and caring!
Wonderful poem and photo!
Many thanks, Belinda! 🙂 Stay close to nature and keep those great photos coming! 🙂
beautiful poem and photo, Thomas, regards Mitza
Much appreciated, Mitza! 🙂 It’s 0 degrees Celsius here today… so we are having a real heat wave for a change! 🙂
Hehe, we have minus 9 🙂
Great verse and images, Tom!
Thank you, Sandy! 🙂 I don’t always totally like my own poems that (in a way) “label” certain people… but sometimes it’s needed to get a point across quickly and acutely.
Wonderful photo and poem!
Thank you much, C.I.! 🙂 Stay curious and perceptive (and never lose that curiosity)! 🙂
I don’t know this flower, I have not photographed it, so beautiful and delicate Tom! 🙂
Thank you, Marcela! 🙂 One is not sure, but it may be Chives.
