My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
wonderful and philosophical words, Thomas, have a nice day, regards Mitza
Thanks much, Mitza! I gave Scarlet a Roudybush piece out of her bowl, while she was out on a perch, and i said to Teetie, “I suppose that you want one too!” Tweetie then said, “Yes, i do!” I then said, “I don’t know why i have to give you a Roudybush from your own bowl; you are so spoiled.” Tweetie replied, “So are you!” 🙂
Hehe, Tweetie is very intelligent and funny
Beautifully stated in layout of the words and their meaning.
Many thanks, S.B. 🙂
Woow Tom, amazing insect! So beautiful, great capture! 🙂
🙂 Yes, Marcela, Katydids are, one feels, rather cute and elegant!
Are we here already? A discussion those who populate these incredible landscapes might have.
Most are there… each as an image that they have absorbed from a very distorted, indifferent society.
The macro images are incredible, Tom!
Would be very interested knowing in the camera(s) and settings used – Love seeing the work of others who are equally enthralled with the charming, diminutive living world all around us that most people never pay attention to.
Oh, forgot to check the box for follow up comments, so doing it now lol
