Far better than them?…

The animals have so little room left; and we — as a species spoiling this marvelous earth — think that we are far superior!  We need to change the way we do things and perceive things!

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...

  1. you hit my soapbox head on. I am especially concerned for the animal that are being summarily “dismissed” because of encroachment when it is humans that are practicing eminent domain upon them.

  2. I’m glad that you all agree! I’m 63 now… and, I’ve got to tell ya… there’s considerably less critters around these days compared to when I was a kid. Even as a kid, I was always outdoors chasing and looking at bugs, snakes, and frogs, etc. There’s not nearly as many as there used to be. For example, there used to be tons of bees and butterflies everywhere; anymore, they are fewer and farther between! We humans need to stop taking more than our fair share of the pie!
