The Immeasurable Sacred

The immeasurable sacred did not create the universe. The universe — as it is — was never created. It always was.
Its energy cannot be created or destroyed. The immeasurable sacred does not tend to interfere with the natural laws and behaviors of the universe, for to do so would be altering the natural framework of things.

The universe operates sequentially. The immeasurable sacred is beyond sequence and cause/effect parameters. A mind, be it human (or of some other animal species), that is heavily conditioned, while deeply ingrained in cause/effect reactions, is trapped in limitation and fragmentary, sequential measurement and likely would not be visited by the immeasurable sacred.

There is no legitimate organized system, method, or path that leads to the sacred. All such systems and paths involve sequential, limited movements that are fragmentary, self-oriented, and based on time. One does not get to the timeless by employing time. In the present, there can exist a timeless meditation that has little or nothing to do with effort or time.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Yesterday I had a conversation with a turtle and then saw a wood frog – swept into timeless just like that! Gratitude for Life – hope I can remember this as firework hell begins tonight

I’m sad to say I haven’t seen any frogs in our garden (NW England, UK) for sometime. Many years ago our cat used to bring in lots of ‘live’ wildlife gifts! One evening I heard a croaking noise and saw on our living room floor a lovely frog. He was watching the television with us and seemed quite content. 🙂🐸
