Spacetime

Space and time are not separate things but are entwined together as one. And if one’s consciousness is exclusively constituted of limited fragmentary thoughts (composed of limited conceptual space)… then time (for such a person) exists in a limited form. All thoughts, no matter what they are, are parts (i.e., fragments) of a sequential process that necessitates (and “is”) time. Thinking takes time and is time… and thinking is often necessary. But there is a time for timelessness… when the intelligent mind can possibly exist beyond the limited framework of time. Time, like limited space, is binding and restricting. Timelessness is not bound by crude, clockwork-like parameters.

Fear is based on time, and greed, too, is based on time. True intelligence goes beyond these two. Such intelligence is not merely part of a limited sequential movement; such intelligence does not merely exist as repetitive, dull, limited, symbolic space.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Keep an open mind for sure! The mind is blind to eyes that cannot see… Awesome work always! God Bless ❀️

Time is a dimension that only moves forward, this much we know. It is different from most other dimensions in that it is, as far as we can tell, intangible yet observable. The question then remains, if we can’t touch time, how do we step out of it and move to a different point on the continuum???

Well, there is no “how” as a definitive process for stepping out of time. Any “how” would involve doing something… and that involves space and time. In a big way, time is tangible, in that it is spacetime, and one can touch groups of molecules, which are constituted of space, (and, hence time is directly involved in a big way).

Existing beyond time may take place for an intelligent mind that is not merely entwined with (and “as”) habitual effort, striving, seeking, identification, and reaching.

Time moves too quickly and I wish we/I could regulate it better. Tom, only you can turn lichen into a pretty photo that is even heart shaped!

Linda, we try to regulate time but we are not very good at it, as a species. Most of us are trapped in the crude sequental aspect of it (without much in the way of premonitions), which is rather sad.

Thanks about the lichen photo. Lichens are so very cool… being a combination of plant and fungi entities! 😊

I agree Tom, “Time, like limited space, is binding and restricting; Timelessness is not.” Stay alert, live, and exist beyond limited parameters, namely mind-filled entrapments. πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸΌπŸ€—
