Happy Halloween… and here’s a huge, new threat to horses! Remember, however, nothing is quite as scary as the presidential campaign in the U.S. around now! Ahhhhhhhhhh!

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Aaaaggghhh! Save the Horse! 🙂
Happy Halloween. 🙂
But spiders need a lot of protein, Scifi! (You have a lot of essential amino acids, by the way!) 🙂
hahahahahahahaha. good joke.
Thanks, Mr. Monkey… but i wasn’t joking about what is really scary! 🙂
Is Trump the spider or the horse? I wouldn’t like to be in your position for the election. You can only choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. Good luck and Happy Halloween, Thomas.
I liked Bernie Sanders… who was really for the people and very much for the environment. Now, i’m not too inclined to vote, since i feel like a global citizen (who doesn’t belong to any one country). I will probably vote this time, however; Trump really scares me, with his lack of concern for the environment (and for everyone else except himself). And i sure do not like the way he mocks people who are handicapped (since, before i retired, i was a teacher for the multiply handicapped); and, sadly, he is prejudiced against many ethnic groups.
We had a blast at the Halloween Party at the School for the Handicapped today! They decorated the auditorium with all kinds of cool creepy monsters and huge spiders…. and it was a great time! 🙂
Bernie Sanders really seemed to be a good one. Honestly, there have been quite a few presidents that were a bit weird but Trump is probably the weirdest. I’m really afraid of the elections because it has an influence on all the world.
I’m happy you had a good time with your handicapped friends at Halloween. We fortunately don’t celebrate Halloween here. I don’t like it. People earn a lot of money with this producing cheap plastic things. I thought you were against such traditions. Here it is no tradition at all, we have reformation day but nobody celebrates it.
I feel ashamed to live in America right now. with who we have running for president! Insanity personified!
Cheap plastic things… yes, too excessive with that, but a lot of Halloween stuff is home-made and it’s truly a fun time for kids! 🙂
I am with you there – this is the scariest election that I have ever experienced in my 72 years… and by the way All Hallows in Mexico and in Europe is celebrated as the Feast of the Dead – a time to remember and honor those who went before us, a time to contact family members who are no longer with us to ask them to pray for us… no joke that.
You are right, it’s very scary, and even though I live in Europe I’m afraid of the result. We don’t celebrate Halloween here, we celebrate reformation day.
Yes, Sara, it’s scarier than scary!
Run, horse, run!
Eight legs do better than four legs, running-wise! 🙂
Personally, I don’t care what anybody says, ALL spiders are that big ALWAYS!😂
I understand! But watch them out in nature sometime… spend some time with them (being open-minded), and you may see how dainty, delicate, and beautiful they really are! 🙂
Very true, their webs of a morning as they catch the morning dew with the sunlight hitting them from behind is a favourite here!
