“There” has
an element of di(stance) and

“Here” has
an element of di(stance) and

Neither “here” nor “there,”how(ever),
negates conflict,and
ends what was
taught to us
(and reinforced for us)
to reabsorb.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
haha Good point in your poem 🙂
Lovely photos too 🙂 Such a blue bug to start with.
Thanks, Sci! 🙂 The butterfly is resting on a leaf of ragweed. I used to be highly allergic to ragweed… but not so much anymore. Once they did some scratch tests on my back for things i might be allergic to… and the ragweed scratch inflamed my whole back!
Hug those dogs!
Ouch! That’s a bad reaction!
I had scratch tests as a kid – I reacted to Everything!
Yep, I make sure my dogs get their daily hugs 🙂
great post, Thomas, love the kaleidoscope butterfly
Thanks very much, Mitza! Tweetie has been nuts about a new type of food that i have been giving her. They are called Nutri-berries. They are vitamin coated balls of hulled, whole seeds and grains stuck together with dried fruits, such as papaya and mango. She goes crazy for these… and i’ll continue to give them to her. They are way healthier than those ordinary mixed seed diets. Extra vegetables and fruits are given additionally.
could you send some nutri-berries to me, that sounds very delicious, hehe, have a nice weekend, regards to Tweetie ,Mitza
Beautiful picture Tom.! Great shot.!
Thank you, Francisco! I saw some robins recently in the backyard; maybe that means an early spring! 🙂
You’re welcome Tom.!
Have a nice weekend.! 🍁
nice seeing here
what you saw
there 🙂
For “mostpeople”… seeing is a learned separation (which isn’t really seeing at all). 🙂
Real touch of E.E. about this one. Love it.
Thanks much, Jean! Quite the compliment! 🙂
