In the poignant circulating of the cosmic wheel

In the poignant circulating of the cosmic wheel

only a small portion exist pliable enough to feel

In time’s perpetual murmur along the mutated stride

only a small handful passionately perceive with eyes open wide

In the inept fervor of politic’s frantic flames

most cling to shadows rarely stuttering their names

In the isolated prearrangement of the seeing of the same

most reside as separative symbols that stylish inattention helps retain

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. 1. Hello Tom,

Are you all ok? I am reading more and more disturbing news on persistent rain and flooding.

    Be in touch.

    Take care
    Regards to you both.

    • Thank you so much for your concern! Though the river we live on is 19 feet above normal, we are still OK and are high and dry. Some of the neighbors to the south though, who have land that is not as high, have had flooding damage, unfortunately. Also, a town south of here, around Sugar Creek, had a lot of very serious flood damage. The river is supposed to crest today… and will slowing be going down again soon.

Seems like the weather is getting more and more erratic anymore. We humans need to do far better concerning the environment; we especially need to go beyond the primitive usage of the very polluting fossil fuels. (Too bad that big corporations keep paying the politicians off to keep things from changing for the better… which is what is happening, I assure you.)

The best solution could be, keep politics off politicians; may be then things will start improving. 🙂

        Take care
        Regards to both of you.

  2. Happy New Year, Mister Tom! I wish that new year bring you health, happiness, success in work and I get you, wonderful images from East Europe! 😀
