I never left where I’ve always been
and I’ve always been where I never left
I never found what I always lost
and I always lost what I never found
I never thought where I’ve never been
and I’ve never been where thought never was
Where thought never was is where the real magic has always been
and the real magic has always been where thought never was

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Really love this one.
Thanks, Sylvia! Because of your poetic expertise, I’m sure you are referring largely to the poem.
The real magic – so elusive, but worth looking for 🙂
Nice poem 🙂
I wish it wasn’t so elusive. However, maybe if more people lived with order, beyond false separations and ideologies, it wouldn’t be so elusive.
Beautiful poem, Tom. Love the macro shot and the second one is so well done. 🙂
Thank you, Amy! The poem has a lot more depth than the photos do, I feel…
I agree, the poem is deep. I read through a few times…

I came back, and saving this one. 🙂
