Lady in Red…

.

The whole world was a book

that I had read…

Or did it read me?

The whole rainbow was a look

of what eye held red…

Or did red hold me?

The whole time was a while

that I had lived in…

Or was time what was me?

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...

    • Same here! We get a ton in our sun room and also some get into the rest of the house. We live next to farmland… and when the farmers do things to the fields, the Ladybugs come our way to avoid the farmers. My wife is not fond of them. (I bought her a nice blouse with ladybugs printed all over it. TeeHee!) 🙂

  1. Remarkable lady in red image! I don’t see ladybugs as I used to. Beautiful poem. 🙂

    • Thank you much! Whenever people appreciate the words, it means a lot to me. My words are meant to encourage people to change and grow; the photos can’t do too much of that! 🙂

We also get a lot of Ladybugs because we live right on the river… and they (like many insects) like the lush foliage and greenery!

  2. Yes, we are also in Illinois and get tons of them, although mostly the orange Asian ones? I remember whole buildings being covered with them in Chicago.
