If we all did more regarding green energy, if we all wrote emails (concerning cleaning up the environment) to the White House and to our Congressmen… then our little planet would have a chance.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Unfortunately the Trump administration is more concerned with profit for corporations (and themselves) than protection for the environment. So short-sighted. As I’ve seen on a protest sign, “There is no Planet B.”
Yes, Karen, it’s unbelievable. People are not doing enough regarding this, and scientists know that time is running out very rapidly before it will be too late to change things enough. Many scientists are equating this to the mass extinction events of the past… and there is evidence that — time scale wise — it is likely even worse than many of the past mass extinction events.
Many of us don’t take the time to change things, but we do take the time to be entertained… just like in the days when people were kept occupied by the Roman Colosseum.

I sure hope so, David… but a lot more people need to get serious very soon.
Such a sweet-looking bird, seems like it’s somehow… pondering. And its little legs, buried in the snow, but still, looking warm. 🙂 Yes, I think all of us should find a way to do things for the environment, be it small things, perhaps they still matter.

Everything that we do matters; even little things can affect the big things. 🙂
Most people do worry about our environment, but take no action. In out city, we have three different trash containers to sort for three different pickups, trash(black color), land filled trash (blue), and recycle items including plastic bags (green). We have to take electronic stuff to an area for recycling, are not allowed to trash them.
