Love is not of limitation. It is endless; as such, it goes beyond the rather false boundaries concocted by man. In its vastness, love permeates (and includes) all apparent things. Love dissolves and shatters all boundaries… and then — rather magically and profoundly — so-called separate things are no longer separate (and, hence, are no longer just things). Being limitless, love goes beyond definitions. Those who are stuck in (and who merely perceive by) definitions and labels… tend to be oblivious regarding profound love. A mind that is intelligent enough to go beyond being immersed in (and “as”) mere abstractions, learned separations, and inherited perspectives, may luckily move parallel with that immense movement beyond cold boundaries.

My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped.
I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy.

Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...
adorable
Thank you, Sixrosesplusone! 🙂
Wonderful. This is true…love is limitless yet man has created boundaries.
Yes… but we, if we are very lucky, can have the intelligence to transcend those boundaries. 🙂
I agree with that.😊
Did you ever try to paint some of your photos, Tom? The edited horse is like a painting ☺
That makes me smile, Majka! I have so many hobbies, even though i am retired, that i just don’t have the time for painting, though it would be another interesting, creative activity.
Well maybe one day… ☺ I have many hobbies as well and sometimes I don’t know what to do first
Horses are the embodiment of LOVE as an Universal energy. Whenever I have the chance to spend few moments with a horse is like being in the presence of an Archangel. The energy is always shifting in their presence.Beautiful photos.
Horses do radiate a special kind of innocence and nonviolent energy. I have seen horses though, that were rather belligerent and mean, even toward other horses. Even the horses with somewhat of a “mean” personality, though, were of a unique and wonderful beauty. Some, like many of us, aren’t perfect; for the most part, however, they are very special animals that radiate something really magical, if one observes closely.

🙂
Take care Tom
Regards to you both.
Yes… and more of us need to go beyond our definitions, symbols, and labels (though with, and by which, we observe things… which isn’t fully observing at all). You can’t hug the word “horse”; but so many of us are captives in (and “as”) words.
Stay perceptive! 🙂
Beautiful colours on this horse 🙂
They are true beauties! They are at a nearby farm. Truly magnificent! 🙂
I’d love to live out in the country with horses, cows and sheep in the fields 🙂
completely true, Thomas. Wonderful horse, regards Mitza
Thank you, Mitza! 🙂 They were so magnificent, it took your breath away! They live at a nearby farm and are very well taken care of. Some people in an area not too far away from here, because of the bad economy, have been abandoning their horses. There is a shelter for abandoned horses in that area that tries to rehabilitate and care for the horses; we have visited it and donated money to help support it. Animals like that shouldn’t suffer.
That’s really a moving story, Thomas. I love horses so much and a lot of other animals, too, and I’m always happy when they are treated well. I’m glad you support this place. We have some horses here, too. They are all very beautiful and gentle animals. I’m always sad, when I see how animals are treated in Greece, but I cannot change much, unfortunately.
Well said, Tom! If we are lucky… we can go beyond the cool boundary. Insightful!
Thanks, Amy! 🙂 One can’t really be very lucky (insightful) if one is merely caught up in (and “as”) the old ideas and beliefs of others; being secondhand isn’t lucky.
Lovely post Tom. There’s nothing like having your arms around a horse’s neck. The smell and the warmth and the feel make it so easy to dissolve in to total love in those moments.
